What gets deleted
- Your account and login identity
- Your studios, with their layouts, scenes, overlays and rundowns
- Your sources and stream destinations
- Your media library files and recording metadata
- The chat history we stored
- Every connected platform (YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook, LinkedIn, Trovo), with its access tokens revoked at the platform
- Any paired mobile devices
What we keep, and why
Two things survive a deletion. Nothing else does.
- Billing records: invoice and payment records, kept for the statutory tax and accounting period. Legal basis: the GDPR Art. 17(3)(b) legal-obligation exception, and CCPA 1798.105(d)(8).
- One line in our deletion log: a request id, timestamps, what was deleted and what was kept. It contains no personal data: no name, no email and no account id; the subject is stored as a one-way hash. We keep it indefinitely as proof of compliance (GDPR Art. 5(2) accountability), because it is the proof the deletion happened.
Two ways to do it
If you can sign in
Open account settings, Privacy and press Delete account. It asks you to confirm, then runs immediately. This is the fastest way and the one we recommend.
If you can't sign in
Use the request form at the bottom of this page. We email a verification link to the address on file, and once you click it the deletion runs.
How long it takes
- Signed in: immediate. A confirmation email with your request id follows.
- Request form: we email a verification link to the address on file. Once you click it, the deletion runs and you get the same confirmation email.
We answer every request within 30 days (GDPR gives us one month; CCPA gives us 45 days) and in practice far sooner.
Delete some data without closing your account
You can remove your platform connections, chat history, media library, or studios on their own and keep the account. See Remove your data without closing your account.
Request deletion without signing in
Tell us the email address on the account and what to remove. We send a verification link to that address. Nothing has been deleted yet, and nothing will be until you click it.
